NBI’s Installer Locator Referral
Program
Program Overview
If
you are an experienced window coverings installer, NBI’s Referral System will
allow you to receive measure & install work directly from the users of all the Internet sites that use NBI’s
Installer Locator. The benefits to the installer are:
*
Internet
sites that we authorize to use our system, refer their visitors directly to a
local installer.
*
Installers
will receive work from a large percentage of Internet sites that sell
blinds. Seven sites have already requested our system and others will be
approved in the months ahead.
*
NBI
does not dictate the installer’s pricing, they set their own pricing, coverage
area, and scheduling.
*
All
product and paperwork is delivered directly to the consumer. Installers won’t be responsible for
“checking” or receiving freight.
*
Installers
work with and get paid directly by the consumer.
*
There
is no “up front” or membership fee.
Installers send NBI a referral fee only after the job is completed.

*
NBI’s
Referral System will be implemented on many window covering web sites.
*
Consumers
who need a local technician to measure or install, will enter their Zip
code. Where there is a match, our system
displays the installer’s details (excluding phone numbers & personal
information.) If the consumer wants to
work with the installer, the installer’s contact information is e-mailed to the
consumer.
*
NBI
will also send the installer a "heads up" e-mail, letting them know
that their contact information has been e-mailed to a potential client.
*
The
client should contact the installer directly to schedule an appointment for a
measure or an install, and review pricing.
If, however, the client does not call, the installer calls the client.
*
As
the job progresses, both client and installer update NBI’s online Job
Management System with it’s current status.
*
The
installer mails referral fees to NBI ($5 for a pre-measure service) either:
- after each
job, writing the Job number on the check, or
- monthly,
with a completed Control Sheet.
On-site Paperwork
The customer is asked to print NBI’s onsite forms before the installer’s visit, which include:
*
NBI’s
Terms and Workmanship guarantees (installer must sign off while on job site)
*
Measure
Form (if necessary)
*
On-site
Issue Troubleshooting (actions to take in the event there are problems with
product)
